Let me start off by saying that alcohol is something I do well. And when I saw this request to test a drink, I was all about it. Plus, I really like peppermint candy. We don’t really keep it in the house because I have self-control issues when it comes to sweets. So this pin test gave me an excuse to purchase two things I absolutely love, booze and sweets. Don’t judge! Moving on…
Wendy’s Chili

I’m sure most of you go through stages where a certain take-out food is something you crave and would totally be fine eating for lunch at work every day, right? Well, I’ve been going through several of those lately. The one that ended most recently were Subway subs. Seriously, I could eat the turkey/ham sub with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles and black olives ALL DAY EVERY DAY! And I almost did! However, the Subway days are over, and the new fast food kid on the block is Wendy’s! Wendy’s has always been my favorite of the fast food burger joints, and lately I’ve seriously enjoyed that I can add a bowl of their yummy chili as a substitute to their equally delicious fries. So, the new weapon of fast food work lunch choice is the spicy chicken sandwich and a small bowl of chili with 2 packets of hot sauce.
You can only imagine my joy when I came across the Wendy’s chili recipe on Pinterest! So, here we are, giving it a test!

Peach Cobbler

I was having a SERIOUS case of sweet tooth the other night, so I ventured into our Food 2 Test Pinterest board for a solution. I was also SUPER lazy and didn’t feel like going to the store for anything special, so the parameters for this late-night sweets fest had to fill 2 basic rules: 1. It had to look appealing enough to sacrifice to the sweet tooth gods; and 2. I had to be able to make it using stuff I already had in my pantry (since I wasn’t about to go grocery shopping in the rain). The more I looked, the more this peach cobbler spoke to me, and awesomely enough, it came from Rachel Schultz, whose Dijon Maple Syrup Chicken we tested a while back. The sweet tooth gods rumbled in my stomach voicing their opinion. It was decided: peach cobbler was happening!
