If you look at this pin you will understand why I thought this would be the best thing since….uhm….sliced bread! So, when it finally came time to make this delicious looking baked goodness I was expecting magic! I mean, cheese and olives in a buttermilk herb bread? That sounds fantastic! However, the final result left me struggling with the worse decision of my 2girlsandapin life – debating whether to give this one a red badge or be lenient and go with a more forgiving yellow. However, the amount of changes I would have had to make to make this bread edible made it impossible to give it anything other than the first red badge 2girlsandapin have given to a food pin. :(

I don’t know if it was because I’ve been dealing with this flu or what, but when I saw this on Pinterest it instantly spoke to me! Problem was, I didn’t have any ground beef and I most definitely didn’t feel like going to the store. So, my trusted friend ground turkey came to the rescue! As you can see from the green badge this recipe got, it is absolutely delicious as prepared with turkey. I can only imagine it will be equally if not more delicious with beef!

Today is our Facial Friday again. Sorry I missed last week but things have been getting busy for me. As you probably know by now, I run a web design/development business and we are actually upgrading our own site in March. Little did I know that we would be our own worst clients! And I’ve made a few new friends, who have been getting me out of the house for thrift shopping and doggie dates. It’s too much fun! OK, first of all, we need to apologize for the slight delay in our post frequency lately. The reason we’ve been total slackers is twofold! First of all, after way too long, your favorite bloggers (2girlsandapin of course) finally got to be in the same city at the same time! That’s right boys and girls, Jelena went to visit Anar in California for an unfortunately short weekend in early February. In this short visit an unprecedented thing happened! We were actually VERY productive and spent disturbingly few moments on drinking games we created for watching Real Housewives of whatever variety! We created a custom body form for Anar, details of which are to come in a series of posts, did a good bit of shopping, messed with some clothing projects, and ate a lot! All in all an unusually productive visit!
