This has been a ridiculously popular post. Just to give you an idea – it has been re-pinned 584 times. But do you know what makes it so popular? I do. It’s the thought that the struggle with oily lifeless hair can one day become easier. That you can go longer between washing your hair without feeling like the bum across the way is making fun of your oily roots. We all want it….well, at least the ones that struggle with the “always oily hair”.
I am the living proof of oily meets dry in the most horrible way EVER. My hair gets oily from the root halfway down and then it gets frizzy and dry. No matter the season, I always look like I just took off a hat that I’ve been wearing for months. My only solution so far has been washing my hair every day, applying all kinds of frizz protection to the ends, and then styling. EVERY DAY! What do hot water, hot hair dryer, hair products do to your hair, you wonder? They dry out the ends. But what’s a girl to do? I can’t walk around looking like this:
