I thought I’d given up on the whole animal print on nails since so far I haven’t been successful until I did this particular design. I am in love, everyone! Let’s jump in.

Well, since Jelena already apologized and explained our recent hiatus from 2 Girls in her awesome Pina Colada Sorbet post, I will jump right into my post.

Let me start off by saying that I am not a big fan of Valentines Day. I feel like it’s an excuse to have a scheduled day to show your love and appreciation for your special someone. On the other days you can be an ass, as long as you did something for the big day. And if you are single, then it’s even worse. The society already tells you that you are less of a person if you are single. On top of that, Valentines Day tells you that you don’t deserve to feel special because you have no one to make you feel special. But since we can’t avoid Valentines day, I call everyone to spend it loving themselves (whichever way you take that). So in the spirit of self-loving, I decided to make my nails all lovey-dovey.
I love this combination of dark blue and silver. It’s not too flashy yet very festive.
I found this nail design a while ago but didn’t get the chance to try it for a while because I didn’t have the appropriate colors. Finally, right before New Years, I ordered a batch of nail polishes from e.l.f. Once they arrived, I was ready to get down and ombre.
